The following is the romanticized version of Jalon, in the world of Baldur's Gate 2.

When people think of heroes, they think of people who have accomplished something great, other people, are just plain stupid. The following history is an account of one of those people, the hero you dimwit, Jalon. (The following is a huge spoiler so if you plan on playing the game don't read it, although it contains no real plot twists.)

I write this in the dark. I appear to be in some sort of cell, my captor, whoever he is, appears to be a powerful mage. From what I gather from my flashes of memory through the headache, he has been torturing me, I remember something about "great potential." My equipment from before I was captured is gone, all but my harp, and my journal. Fortunately, my songs and ballads are all in this journal, or unfortunately for some of my friends, if I ever see them again. None of them seem to like my music, none of them are very supportive, least of all Jaheira. Aha! Someone approaches, it appears to be Imoen...

The mage, Jon Irenicus, had captured Jalon, a Child of the god of Murder, Bhaal and experimented on him, testing his true power. However, the Shadow Thieves saw fit to end Jon Irenicus's plans and kill his creatures. Imoen was freed by one and opened Jalon's cell. They soon met up with Minsc and Jaheira, as well as an interesting thief, Yoshimo. After a long trudge through the dungeon, they reached the surface only to find even more danger than before.
At last! Sunlight. Oh how I wish I could get out of this infernal dungeon. It is farther away than it seems, I'm sure. It appears there is a battle going on up above, how unfortunate, nevertheless I will get to the bottom of this untimely capture.
