Bookworm rating 9.4 (Ok I'm sorry, this game is so good, it's so close to Shadows of Amn, I know Gamer and DM are going to attempt and fail to kill me but it is awesome)

First of all I'd like to say, DM's an idiot (and his spelling's archaic at best), Age of Mythology is NOT better than Age of Kings, don't say that again because if you do, Trekie wants you demoted back to hobbit and I can change Gamer's mind(you change my mind? I only take your side because it is often better than that of Trekie's. Besides, Im against you in the fact that this game is as great as it seems, and against Trekie in his thinking that Final Fantasy is so great. And yes, I am going to start to ramble because I am quite peeved of being banned from some Jedi Academy server. Arg, if only I could get back on to that server, I would crush that person who banned me, and then take the hero's mantle for no reason! AHAHAHA! Anyways, back to my rambling. This piece of my history wil be added to the history in due time, entitled "Gamer in Jedi Academy, and the Adventures of the Clan Wars. You know its funny, if I keep going on like this I'll have some rambling that will have gone longer than Bookworm's review. Fortunately for him, Im not that cruel and I'll stop right here. Actually here.-Gamer). (Cue for evil laugh.) This game is one of the best games of all time. It is a real time strategy game, while many people say that RPG's are far better, I have seen only one instance of this happening, in the case of Baldur's Gate 2, however I have not played Ultima seven so do not judge by what I say.
This game is based from the Dark ages until the beginning of the Imperial age. You advance through a series of four ages (Dark, Feudal, Castle and Imperial) in which you upgrade your militairy and economy. There are victory conditions for the random maps such as Conquest (wipe them out) and Regicide (kill the king and protect your own) as well as specialized conditions for campaigns. The range of units goes from villagers and base militairy units, militia, up to hand canoneers and trebuchets, while the buildings range from castles and towers to universities and monasteries. Each civilization , out of thirteen, has it's own special unit as well as bonuses to economy and militairy. Examples of special units include Samurai (Japanese), Berserkers (Vikings) and War Elephants (Persians). This game sports 5 campaigns, William Wallace (tutorial), Joan of Arc, Ghengis Khan, Saladin, or Barbarossa. This game also includes a map editor with advanced controls and triggers, it also has a campaign editor with which you can link your maps together to create a storyline. (Note:this review does not contain the Conquerors expansion). This game over-all is amazing, it's standard game generator (random maps) and map/campaign editor gives it months of replayability while the campaigns themselves are enjoyable. The levels are hard but not frustrating, while this game does not incorporate alot of strategy it still gives a more than adequate (if not alittle fake) simulation of warfare in medieval times. I would recommend this game to anyone, except DM, who is an idiot, as it is as fun as Baldur's Gate 2 and as replayable as Dynasty warriors 4.-Bookworm (See, now that wasnt such a hard thing to do, to finally put a good review not made by me-Gamer. Oh yeah, and before I do finish, I'd like to add that Spider-Man 2 was terrific.)
