While this is the last part of Bookworm's life so far, it shall come first, merely because it is the easiest to recall.
As I shall say now, this chapter should be called- the rise and fall of NAO. This organisation began with 2 people- Gamer
and Trekie. While many of you think that Gamer and Trekie were the best friends that they had it was not the case. They had
known each other for less than a year. This is when the fires of rebellion began to flicker in Bookworm's soul. This anger
was mostly aimed at Gamer for creating the foundations of an organisation with Trekie but without him, even though he had
been Trekie's friend for almost his entire life. This was the beginning of the rise of NAO. SWNerd joined shortly afterward,
this rank injustice burned Bookworm like an ice pick set on fire and covered in oil. Here was a Bald Ape who was allowed in
merely for his ability to toady. This was however only a minor setback, for the next year Bookworm was allowed in. This was
truly the golden age of NAO. Duel 1 taking place and the glorious battle raging to and fro across a broken landscape. Bookworm
however was killed early on by the cheapness of Gamer and the lightsabers of SWNerd. However, the fall of NAO was upon them.
While Bookworm struggled on against the tide of newcomers, 3 new members joined in quick succession. The first of these was
DM. This lowly slime, hid beneath his couch everytime the glory of Bookworm passed however, when the light had passed he would
again mar the site with stench and methane. The next was Bort. While this character has of now failed to achieve anything
on the site, Bookworm was not worried for Bort had at least some nerdly attributes (dude, he's the nerdiest except for SWNerd.
-Gamer). Then was the crushing blow. As Bookworm let out a sigh of relief, Idiot (X-Man) joined. Bookworm and his current
puppet (Gamer)almost cried with pain and misery when it was announced this abomination was to enter. (The rebellion of Bookworm
to come soon). The Rebellion of Bookworm: Bookworm, with Trekie gone and becoming disillusioned with Gamer and his weak will
decided it was time to do something of historic proportions. He knew that Gamer hated the Wizard of Oz and the advantage it
held over the Return of the King so he created a review pronnouncing it the best movie ever. Gamer leapt to the bait and said
the ultimate crime. He said he would rather see the Matrix than the Wizard of Oz. Taking up his katana and spear, with his
ninja Sasuke at his side and his horse Whitestorm under him he vowed that unless Gamer admitted that the Return of the King
was not as good as the Wizard of Oz (moviewise) than he would only settle his blood feud to the death. Bookworm's Krikkit
war ship and dragons faced off with the star fleet of Gamer and Bookworm's Dragons, archers and Takeda cavalry faced impossible
odds, Chuko Liang, ally brought from the past thought up a plan of martyrdom and courage. Only by sepuuku could the forces
of Gamer be defeated. The end of duel 3 will be related in time however here is the ending of the blood feud between Gamer
and Bookworm. Treaty 008 showed that Bookworm would only have to agree that he (as well as all members) was close minded,
and that the Wizard of Oz was an incredible movie however it could be de-throned by some movies possibly. (Sorry Gamer I just
have to embellish this a bit for my benefit-Bookworm). Bookworm then decided to give up his harsh ways and be polite to anyone
who deserved it. However, in case anyone's reading this he will still attack if provoked so I suggest you treat this mood-swingtastic
person politely and with respect do to an atheling (see Lord of the Fire Lands). (This section is not completed as NAO is
still continuing) The purging of Nao. Bookworm then turned his eyes to the taint with in Nao, and decided to cleanse the core
of the site. He first prodded Gamer to delete DM's reviews and then removed the X-Man. There was not the expected kicking
and screaming expected so Bookworm also removed the never-named nerd and DM.
Volume 2: Bookworm, the Life and Times
Bookworm was born in the war torn lands of Baelmark, Eurania, in the earldom of Catterstow, however at
the age of one this noble member of the Cattering lineage was thrown into a bed while his real parents (then king and queen
of Baelmark) were killed by their nephew tanist. The bed turned out to be a portal in the space fabric so he was transported
to Earth and was there adopted by his current family (fantastic people). He then met Trekie in the same spring he arrived
and they soon began plotting together every Saturday (and the rest of the week for that matter) on when they could plan the
perfect brunch, however their plans never bore fruit as they found cronies and goons to argue with and gain support with.
However, as they moved to another academic level, Trekie's magnetism and at least equal charisma began to draw more followers,
despite Bookworm's larger intelligence (sorry Trekie). Trekie and Gamer then created NAO (without Bookworm).
It was as if Trekie had suddenly abandoned Bookworm and stabbed him in the back with a piece of burned toast. The next
year trails of the backstabbing continued. Bookworm was in NAO however a fight ensued where Trekie easily tossed the nerd aside,
he, however, later repented and apologised. When the the brains and brawn had been passed around, Trekie had taken 2
from the brawn and sneaked a rather large bowlful of the other as well. While Bookworm was easily the second best fighter
in NAO,(that is, if you don't count Durendal or Raider, which nobody does), Trekie could still beat him. (more to
come soon).
Volume 3: Bookworm in the Modern World
Bookworm is undoubtably one of the greatest figures the communications/ technology age. He took an early interest in
gaming, reserving only time spent with Trekie and reading to equal it. He began with games like Heroes of Might and magic 2
and blasting away, destroying Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters by the hundreds in X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter He then began
playing such fantastic games as Age of Kings and Baldur's Gate 2. In Age of King's he realised he had a talent for these
strategy games and he took the role of Saladin and his Saracens as he battled Crusaders across the deserts and dunes in the
campaign of a life time. He then began his favourite game ever, Baldur's Gate 2. His character, Oy-Oy, was a half-orc. He
could not be rivaled in skill at fighting by anyone except for the master of Game's character, this person is not Gamer and
does not want to be named or even mentioned on this site. Oy-Oy began his adventure as a Kensai however he was remodeled as
a Fighter and later as a Barbarian. Oy-Oy, plagued by his destiny and weak party, has not yet completed his first quest however
he began his quest as a half-orc Barbarian in Throne of Bhaal. He cut down anything in his path and fought his way all the
way to the Throne of Bhaal where he killed the enemy and became the greatest warrior of his time. Dynasty Warriors was the
last of the Great Games played by Bookworm (so far). He played the third one as Xiahou Dun, one eyed. He and the Master beat
the game as he and Dian Wei in 3 days. The fourth was then given to them as a reward for learning where every country in the
world was and what it's capital is. Ask him any question about it and he will tell you (unless it's in Africa). Just don't
ask him what the capital of Scotland is, because it's not officially a country, the capital was Edinburgh. He and the Master
took a long time to beat it, (4.5 months) mostly because of a disinterest by the latter. However they eventually beat it,
their first characters being Xiahou Dun (Bookworm) and Xiahou Yuan and the final being Zhang He and Zhang Liao.
Bookworm then commenced to unlock everything possible and all the characters. He eventually became better than the Master
at that game (as well as Nightfire) and bought X-treme legends and Samurai Warriors. He anxiously awaited Empires which
looked to be the least re-hashed of the expansions. (Coming soon, Empires and the lesser games). The game that he
began playing was Nightfire. He fought with and against his cousins on the Xbox and later bought it for the PS2. He fought the
Master, later he began to win but the master resorted to physical violence so he let him win. Another game was
Jedi Academy, this was bought at the convenience store for 75 FREAKING DOLLARS!! He easily beat single player and began his
spiel online under the alias of Durendal, the best swordsman of all time. He slaughtered hundreds of Jedi, leaving
not a single one still breathing, then he began to play jedi academy. He was already an above average beginner,
and was always in the top 5 of the match (TFFA). However, he was never on the red team, until, one day he went on and found
that everyone on the blue team were losers and lamers, so he went on the red team and began a 22 kill with no deaths killing
spree, in 3 minutes. He then started playing seige but his favourite server began using a password to get on so he stopped
playing this mediocre game. The next game, while not mediocre, was not one of his very favourite games. It was Half-Life,
he cruised through it on Medium, and then commenced it for fun on Easy. He decide to replay the best game of all time, Baldur's
Gate 2. He chose a Bard called Jalon and commenced his journey to own the theatre. His bard soon made a name for himself,
falling only just short of Oy-Oy's renown. He gained reputation after taking 3 hours to beat the first chapter (dungeon of
Irenicus) and then actually started playing the game. He saved Haer Dalis (D'alis?) and was given the deed to the theatre.
He had 20 000 gold, spent 10 000 on the theatre, and gained another 10 000 from random quests and drunken brawls. He solved
the jealousy between 2 actresses by completely crushing one of them. However, he lost a key member of his party to "family
matters" (Keldorn). His current party contains Himself (Jalon), Minsc, Anomen, Jaheira, Aerie and Haer D'alis.
