9.3

The first Baldur's Gate was an amazing achievment and savior of the Computer Role-Playing Game. The sequel not only surpasses expectations, but spits on them. However, with all this said, there are still some minor gripes about some of it. We start off in a dungeon of a scientist/mage/sicko named Jon Irenicus. He has imprisoned you for various unknown reasons and keeps you deep within his dungeon, safely locked up, at least until Imoen comes and releases you! You start off a bit hazy, and this is a wonderful time to ask Imoen all the questions you have if you have not played the original Baldur's Gate. Thankfully, Bioware took that opportunity, carefully explaining what happened during the past adventures. As you continue, you find several party members locked up as well, and you can free them or leave them. Eventually, you uncover a plot by Irenicus to discover your potential god-like powers and claim them for his own. You set out to stop him, along the way picking up familiar characters such as Jaheira, Minsc/Boo, Edwin, Viconia, and obviously Imoen.
(9.3, 9.3, this game is the best of all time, it deserves a 9.8 at least, what are you going to give Ultima 7, 9.7! You're nuts!-Bookworm) (You understand that 10 stands for perfect right? Obviously not, because Baldur's Gate 2 is far from perfect despite being one of the best experiences available on the PC.-Gamer) WARNING, THIS REVIEW WAS MYSTERIOUSLY HALF-DELETED, watch out for repairs coming soon.
