Duel three

Hokay. so, here's the duel. jus' chillin. "Dang! that's a pretty sweet duel!" you might say WROUNG!!!

Alright: ruling out either party falling into the lava and melting; or the meteors which are falling becomeing crashed into them; or the system of Rocky ledges they can stand on leaveing; or the volcano this is all on exploding, they are definately going to blow eachother up.

Trekie: Thunder rolls, and the incidental music takes a turn for the more intense, as Trekie bursts from out of a crack between two of the ledges breaching the mouth of the volcano. His spectacular momentum carries him straight up towards a meteor. As he reaches it, it shatters around him. Because of his powerful movement, the shards oribt around Trekie. Lightning shreads the clouds as, with a burst of outward force, Trekie sends the rock fragments blasting away from him in every direction. "I'm ready." he says.

SWNerd: SWNerd then jumps upwards from behind another rock, and towards a falling meteor. He is armed with his usual double sabers. Before he can hit the meteor (or vice versa), he throws one of the lightsabers spinning towards it. The lightsaber slices it in half, and SWNerd catches both halves with the Force and hurls them towards two of three oncoming meteors. He then plants both feet on the groundward side of the meteor, pushes off of it, lands, and blows the meteor to bits with a burst of Force lightning. He then picks up all of the shards from the varios meteors, and hurls them at Trekie (it should be noted that few of the chunks are small or sharp enough to cut, but instead if they make contact, most of them will only deliver a bit of bruising).

Trekie: Trekie seizes one large chunk of rock which reached him before the rest. He then blasts straight through them, with the meteor held before him. Any he strikes merely crash into his make-shift shield, but those that he misses are pulled into the air current he causes and streak along behind him. He has quite a following, and just before he reaches SWNerd, he transports himself about twenty metres away, and the rocks, along with several smaller meteors that were also picked up, blast straight at SWNerd.

SWNerd: SWNerd stops all of the rocks that were coming at him in midair with the Force and hurls them into the lava below. SWNerd then pulls out a blaster (his lightsaber now spinning around him) and fires several quick shots off at Trekie. Then, to properly keep the duel going, SWNerd speeds his actons with the Force and sheaths his blaster, grabs his second lightsaber, and charges Trekie.

Trekie: Trekie throws himself to the ground, barely avoiding the shots fired, but even as he lands, he is fireing dual phasers. One incenerates a meteor so that it explodes directly above SWNerd, the other blasts the ground from beneath SWNerd's feet. Not waiting to see how effective his attack was, Trekie rolls off the ledge and plumets, out of sight but not sense, towards the lava below.

SWNerd: SWNerd speeds up even more by jumping ahead, narrowly missing the exploding rock, and stops just before the ledge. Without looking over (what doyou take me for?), he uses the Force to sense where Trekie is. He then backs up, quite rapidly, away from the edge, wary to whatever traps Trekie might try to spring (he is still sensing Trekie's position).

Trekie: SWNerd can sense Trekie dropping still, straight toward the lava. Then suddenly he stops himself. The force of his sudden stop creates a deep dip in the lava, which then procedes to spurt up again, and Trekie does likewise. There is a sonicboom as Trekie fires out of the crevice, towing a tower of Lava in his wake. As Trekie reaches several hundred meters above the ground, he stops, and the liquid hot magma comes crashing down all over the ledge.

SWNerd: SWNerd throws all of his Force abilities into creating a shield around him. As Trekie waits from a safe distance, he sees the lava cool and nothing burst out. Amazed at the ease with which the duel was won, he barely even noticed the blaster being put beside his head, and the shots being fired at his skull.

Trekie: If by barely noticed you mean nearly gave himself whiplash avoiding then yes, he did barely notice them. Even as he whiped his head back, Trekie's arm shot out and wraped itself around SWNerd's gun-arm. Trekie's left hook came across his face and planted itself in SWNerd's nose. Then Trekie threw SWNerd away from him, drawing his coustom gun and unlaoding on his foe as he did so.

SWNerd: SWNerd manages to block most of the bullets (I'm assuming about a round were fired) with his lightsaber, and was able to stop the rest with the Force. He then caught himself in midair (with the Force) and propelled himself upwards towards Trekie. Doging/blocking shots from Trekies gun, SWNerd seemed to not notice as a meteor hit him. However, he then stopped himself again, and hurled the meteor back at Trekie. As Trekie blew the meteor tho peices in some non-descript way, it exploded in a brilliant flash of light that made Trekie turn away for a moment. Obviously, SWnerd had set thermal detanators in the meteor in a hole from his lightsaber. Speaking of which, when Trekie looked back, he found a lightsaber headed straight for him, and about thirty centimetres away (that is, of course, the end of the blade, which was egnited).

Trekie: Trekie's vision still blurry from the flash, he is unable to make an effective defence and counter, thus he dropped straight down toward the ground, pulling out a katana as he did so. He activates a miniature shielding device on it, allowing it to clash with a lightsabre without being destroyed. Trekie then leaps into the air, and kicks several meteors in SWNerd's direction.

SWNerd: SWNerd calls his second lightsaber back to him, slicing through each of the meteors in turn (and putting Force bubbles around them and the lightsaber so nothing nasty can happen). He then leaps towards Trekie and engages him in a sword fight (just for fun). SWNerd first thrusts forwards with one lightsabre, the other coming swiftly behind it. However, Trekie still manages to block the thrust, and side-jump-sommersault-thing over the second blade. Trekie then slices diagonally from top to bottom, which SWNerd parries with one lightsaber and reposits with another. But, again, Trekie is still a bit too fast for the blade, and flattens himself parralell and close to his sword, and dodging the reposit.

Trekie: Trekie leaps a few meters back from his opponent, not likeing the two-to-one sword style that going on, he fires a phaser at SWNerd. SWNerd instinctively parries, and the phaser blast is reflected off to a metero, which explodes into tiny dust, blinding both combatants. Trekie suddenly closes his mind to SWNerd, and neither are left knowing the location of there opponent. As the dust settles, Trekie is no where to be seen.

SWNerd: (Hmm, well, since it's not your mind that I'm sensing, we'll say that you blew a coupla meteors up, and the the dust is clouding it, hmm? Right.) SWNerd quickly sped away from where he was standing, and jumped up above the cloud of dust.He then floated there, with one lightsaber and one blaster drawn. "Trekie, where are you?" He called (Note: If Trekie is already above the cloud, let's just pretend that that line didn't exist, alright?)

Trekie: (I'm hiding my mind with the telepathic powers from all the empaths and stuff in Star Trek. Plus the Vulcan's mind control, in 'operation anihilate!' Spock controled his mind when the creatures were supposed to take him over. Not to mention the whole 'Free your mind' bit from the Matrix, I mean the kid got himself out solo, that's the way its done. Come to think of it, I should probably have the best mind control of anyone in NAO.)

Trekie blasts out of the dust, only to be fired upon by SWNerd. He zooms back in with a muttered comment involving the phrase 'warm welcome.' There is a pause, as nothing imerges from inside the dust cloud, when suddenly, phaser fire erupts toward SWNerd from four different places in the cloud.

SWNerd: (No, it's just the shape of your body that I'm sensing, it really doesn't make any difference what the hell is happening with your mind. Which is, in your case, a very good thing.) SWNerd deflects the phaser fire back towards where it came from, and dives back into the clouds, and gathers all of his energy to him, and covers all of the clouded area in Force lightning for a couple of seconds.Then he jumped back into the air and suspended himself there for a second, and then began to fly around, watching for any disturbances in the dust thatwould indicate Trekie moving.

Trekie: (Are you sure they do it by the body? Cause they say stuff like "I feel his presence" and stuff, and like palpatine knows when Anikin gets rocked by Obi-wan. I'm pretty sure they do it by their minds.) (Here's one for you: can you deflect phaser fire with a lightsabre? Its kinda constant, you'd think you'd have to hold your lighsabre there. Anyways, in the spirit of moving on:) When SWNerd unleashes his lightning, Trekie fires himself backwards, out of the cloud, just catching a quick jolt of the blast, not enough to do serious damage. He then returns in kind with a blast of yellow energy as seen in that epsiode of TNG where the guys are addicted to the drug. Only this is a serious blast.

SWNerd: (I'm pretty sure you can feel a body anyways, because it always describes it as "he felt out the shape of the rock as he started to lift it with the Force")(and I do have two lightsabre's, I'm assuming that they were coming from such angles that I could just hold my lightsabre in place and have it deflect two of them. And also, what was making the phaser bursts, did I blow it up when i deflected them?) Anyways...(in Miliways, nah, jk). SWNerd responded to the blast by flying upwards using the Force to speed his actions, turning around once the blast had stopped, and shooting back at Trekie with his gun.He then grabs Trekie with a Force choke, and slams him towards the ground (away from the dust cloud).

Trekie: (Describes? oh right, the 'expanded universe' AKA Star Wars except gay.)(The blasts were just four phasers that I put a reaction time on, you can have blown them up if you want, I've got plenty.) As SWNerd fires, Trekie builds a similar charge of energy infront of him, and it absorbs the laser fire. When SWNerd force grips Trekie, he has no power to stop the choke, but he instead takes a similar hold on SWNerd useing his powers as the one. They are now locked in eachothers grips.

SWNerd: Sensing the utter futility of the situation, SWNerd Force pushes Trekie away, breaking their embrace. He then uses the Force to send a "Force punch" right into Trekie's face, followed by another punch to the face. He then flies towards Trekie, zigging and zagging (also going up and down) to avoid any other pseudo-ethreal attacks (good god, did that even come close to the right spelling?), firing shots at Trekie with his blaster along the way, and sending arcs of Force lightning (semi-dodgeable) towards his foe.

Trekie: The instant the grip is broken, Trekie fires into the air like a bullet from a gun. Except very few bullets cause a sonicboom soon after leaveing the muzzle. SWNerd's attack is unsuccesful, as Trekie isn't keeping particularly still. The Force lightning and blaster shots are more likely to hit, being light, but Trekie weaves amoungst the meteors, createing an almost impossible target. Safely behind a particularly large rock, he slows to draw a disrupter, which he begins to fire down at SWNerd.

SWNerd: SWNerd quickly gives chase to Trekie, firing at him all the way. When Trekie pulls out the disruptors SWNerd instantly pulls out his lightsabers, and deflects the beams harmlessly anywhere he can. He then reaches Trekie's altitude, and disappears in a large group of meteors (too big for Trekie to disintegrate all of them). Trekie then realises that about a dozen larger meteors are now all converging on him from all different directions.

Trekie: ("Too big for Trekie to disintegrate all of them" ?! Nothing's too big for that! Careful what you talk about I can and can't do before I go Q style all over you!) As The meteors storm in, Trekie feels forced to quote 'going on a bear hunt' "Can't go over it, can't go around it, can't go under it, have to go through it!" Trekie blasts directly toward SWNerd in his pile of meteors, passing directly through a large meteor on the way. He accelerates straight into the pile, but instead of crashing, he appears to pass directly into them. Suddenly the meteors are deleted, and Trekie detonates eight stun grenades in the area where SWNerd was.

SWNerd: SWNerd: SWNerd was, unfortunately, not in the area where Trekie last saw him (and if you pull a "holodeck incident" on me, I will personally come over there, and kick your ass). He had, instead,jumped from passing meteor to passing meteor, in a way that Trekie could never have seen him, until he was on the other side of Trekie. As the charges blew, SWNerd let his outer robes fall to the ground, revealing him encased in mandalorian style armour (without helmet (you can't see a thing in those helmets!)). He then used the flamethrower on his wrist to blast some serious... well, flames... at Trekie.

Trekie: Seeing the lack of SWNerd, (one of everyone's faveourite sights! oh!) Trekie spins to face the oncoming flames. He hurls himself out of the way, cathcing only a slight scorching on his left arm. He then whips out a pair of phasers, and blasts one at SWNerd's wrist, and the other at his face.

SWNerd: SWNerd reacts by zooming upwards, zooming around asteroids and avoiding the phaser fire, then cut back down head towards the ground, pulling out his own blasters as he did, and firing them at Trekie's phasers (and his face, torso, limbs, etc.) SWNerd then zoomed under Trekie, pulled out a lightsaber, and attacked Trekie's feet.(Hey, you should go on MSN, Kate wants to talk to you.-SWNerd)

Trekie: As SWNerd returns fire, Trekie catches a falling meteor and pulls it infront of himself. It is quickly torn apart, but by that time, Trekie has hurled himself to one side, as SWNerd approached with his sabre. Trekie swiftly unsheathed his katana (the one with the shielding on it) and knocked SWNerd's attack to the side, whilst (and at the same time) landing a sharp double-footed kick on a meteor falling directly on him. This effectively set him upsidedown facing SWNerd. (I have been talking to her. Or is there something specific?-Trekie)

SWNerd: SWNerd uses the Force to bring a meteor zooming into the small gap between him and Trekie, and both of them dodge their heads out of the way. As the meteor is passing right between them, SWNerd brings his lightsaber up at Trekie's face along the trailing edge, and Trekie blocks the thrust. Trekie then responds with a diagonal chop towards SWNerd, and SWNerd brings his blade up to block it, locking their blades. Both of them then push away from each other, Trekie spinning to face SWNerd and dropping to his level as he came to a stop. The two then came together for a quick series of blows, each one of the attacks countered perfectly by their opponents block. Trekie then uses his powers as the one to bring two meteors together from SWNerds sides. SWNerd reacts by crashing his shoulder forward into Trekie, forcing each of them back (Trekie's back, that is) SWNerd then spins to deliver a kick to Trekie's side, which Trekie swings his blade down to counter. However, SWNerd retracts his legs, and as Trekie is completing his swing, SWNerd kicks both feet into Trekie's chest. Trekie does a mid-air backflip so he is not hit, and brings his katana up behind him to sever SWnerd's feet. SWNerd then brings his lightsaber down hard on Trekie's blade, causing Trekie to spin in the other direction. As he came back up, his face met a punch from SWNerd, however, SWnerd simultaneously received a punch to the ribs from Trekie. SWNerd then flew backwards, away from Trekie, and shot crackling Force lightning flying from his fingertips at his opponent.

Trekie: Trekie Fires a bio-electrical blast in return. As the two powers clash, sparksfly from each, blowing apart several meteors nearby. As the large shard of one hurls at Trekie, he is forced to pull out of the lock, and throw himself away from both lightning and shards. He comes to rest on his back, from where he catches a falling meteor and hurls it at SWNerd.

SWNerd: SWNerd used his own powers to slow the momentum of the meteor, and brought out both of his lightsabers and croosed them. He then dragged them trhough the meteor, slicing it into 4 large chunks. He then sent these flying back at Trekie. As Trekie started to stop the meteor chunks with his powers, SWNerd used Force spped and his Mandalorian jetpack to zoom past Trekie at speeds sufficient to create a slipsteam strong enough for him to continue bringing the meteors hurtling towards Trekie at ferocious speeds. As he flew by Trekie, SWNerd slashed at his stomach with one lightsaber, and as Trekie blocked it, SWNerd swung his other sabre around to decapitate Trekie. Trekie, however, ducked the attack by bending his head forward, and started dodging the meteors. He dodged the first two just fine, and brought his katana up tow chop one of the others int many small peices and send those peices flying at SWNerd. Trekie then just barely managed to dodge the last meteor, the slipstream barely catching him to twist him around. SWNerd, meanwhile, was busy dodging/blocking the other meteor shards. As both opponents finally regained control of their seperate situations, SWNerd dropped back into the dust cloud below, still vhovering on the ground.

Trekie: (Dude, the dust cloud hasn't settled yet? man....) Okay. So Trekie glares at the dust cloud where SWNerd is hiding out. With speed he whips out a stun grenade, and hurls it into the cloud. As it is on it's path, Trekie draws distrupters, and fires a spread which protects the grenade from being phisically touched or destroyed by SWNerd. Of course, he could use his force powers to push the object away, but Trekie has ready his powers as the One, and if the two clash, the grenades momentum would keep it in motion. Hoping to draw SWNerd out of hiding with this attack, Trekie drops the disrupters (their spread, however continues) and he draws his katana and costum gun.
